    Engineering Assistant I/II/III Opportunity at AKDOT&PF

    The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, Statewide Design and Engineering Services Research Section’s looks to conduct research that continuously improves Alaska’s infrastructure through implementation and training.

    Our engineers help manage and implement a Federal Highway Administration Research Program for highway-related research and innovations that range in complexity and topic areas, such as bridge, environmental, hydrology, and more.

    Centrally located in the Juneau DOT&PF Headquarters building, our teams are located in Fairbanks, Anchorage, and Juneau. We work closely within our own division, as well as divisions throughout the three regions. Our tight-knit teams are typically made up of five members consisting of a design chief, a program manager, two engineering assistants, a training manager, and training assistant.
