    SDOT in search of Assistant Civil Engineer

    The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) is hiring an Assistant Civil Engineer I. The position is a temporary assignment (for up to 2 years and 11 months) and will be a full-time support for the Project Design and Delivery team within the Project Development Division.

    This position will mainly assist with the SDOT Citywide Speed Limit Reduction project, including drafting and issuing speed limit sign installation work orders to SDOT sign crews, updating sign assets and conducting before and after-installation field checks. Another key function of this position will be helping with designing and implementing the bus stop landing pad improvement project funded by the Transit Spot Improvement program under the Move Seattle Levy.

    The application is due Tuesday, Mar. 10. Students who are graduating in June 2020 and have work experience in civil engineering field are encouraged to apply for this position.
