{"id":2593,"date":"2015-10-30T15:00:28","date_gmt":"2015-10-30T23:00:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/pactrans\/?p=2593"},"modified":"2016-01-08T09:19:21","modified_gmt":"2016-01-08T17:19:21","slug":"congratulations-to-the-sctl-masters-program-graduates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/pactrans\/congratulations-to-the-sctl-masters-program-graduates\/","title":{"rendered":"Congratulations to the SCTL Masters Program Graduates!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This summer the online <a href=\"http:\/\/www.supply-chain-transportation.uw.edu\/\">Master of Supply Chain Transportation &amp; Logistics<\/a> at the University of Washington graduated its inaugural class of 28 students.\u00a0 Known as \u201cThe Originals\u201d, this impressive group spent two years balancing the demands of part-time school with full-time employment at companies like Boeing, Zulily, REI, and Tesla.\u00a0 Our students not only reside throughout WA State, but also across the nation and globe!<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The SCTL program combines engineering and business principles with industry best practices to provide students with the knowledge needed to successfully design, implement, and manage complex supply chain transportation and logistics strategies. The curriculum focuses on cross-functional areas&#8211;such as operations, inventory management, and IT systems&#8211;to develop skills in the end-to-end management of transportation in a global supply chain.
