Caroline J. Hurd, MD, is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Palliative
Care and Internal Medicine at the University of Washington in the
Department of Medicine, Division of Gerontology and Geriatric Medicine.
Dr. Hurd obtained her medical degree from the University of California,
San Francisco and completed an Internal Medicine residency and
Palliative Medicine fellowship at the University of Washington.
Dr. Hurd is an attending physician for the Inpatient Palliative and
Supportive Care Consultation Service at Harborview Medical Center and is
the Harborview site director for the UW Palliative Medicine fellowship.
She has a passion for medical education across all levels of training
and disciplines and recently received the Cambia Health Foundations
Sojourns Scholar Leadership Award.
