Seventy-six newborns shared hospital rooms with their mothers. Reasons for not sharing rooms included maternal or newborn need for ICU-level care. Ninety-one mothers breastfed. Newborns were tested using nasopharyngeal swabs processed with the Cobas RT-PCR or Xpert Xpres assays.
