The authors suggest these findings highlight a need for future investigations into the role of neutralizing antibodies and their correlation with protection. In keeping with earlier studies, two commercial serology tests by DiaSorin and Roche demonstrated good sensitivity when used on samples collected from patients 15 days after hospital admission and low sensitivity for samples collected on the day of admission.
