The authors controlled for both demographic characteristics (age, sex) and seasonal variables (temperature, humidity). No effects were observed based on the number of different reported symptoms, hospitalizations, frequency any of the individual symptoms, or the proportion of individuals with long symptom duration (\u226528 days). The proportion of individuals with duration of symptoms \u226528 days did not change in association with the presence of the B.1.1.7 variant.
