Responses were persistent, and in some cases increased over three months following symptom onset. They also found that SARS-CoV-2-specific memory lymphocytes exhibited characteristics associated with potent antiviral immunity. The authors conclude that these findings provide evidence that recovered individuals will be protected from a second SARS-CoV-2 infection and that Th1 memory should be the target of vaccine elicited memory.<\/p>\n<p><em>Rodda et al.
