They used an open source online single-cell RNA sequencing data, to evaluate the cell specific expression of ACE2 in maternal-fetal interface as well as in multiple fetal organs. Results revealed that ACE2 was highly expressed in maternal-fetal interface in the placenta and many fetal organs, suggesting the potential capacity for the infection of SARS-CoV-2 to the fetus through the vertical transmission.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Li et al.
