Patients receiving azithromycin plus usual care (n=500) had similar time to recovery compared to patients receiving usual care alone (n=823) (HR=1.08, 95%CI: 0.95-1.23). The probability of a clinically meaningful benefit of at least 1.5 days in time to recovery was 0.23.
