In all counties, population density was significantly associated with higher risk of COVID-19 mortality. In non-urban counties,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">the proportion of the population<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0who\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">did\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">not speak English,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">proportion\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">engaged in farm work, and\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">proportion\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">living in poverty\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">was positively associated with<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0COVID-19 mortality<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. The<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">proportion of\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">uninsured individuals\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">was negatively associated with<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0COVID-19 mortality.
