Loss of smell was<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0associated with younger age (mean age 46 with smell loss vs 49 without), female gender (6<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">5<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">% vs 5<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">3<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">%), and higher BMI (mean 33.6 vs 31.5).
