  • suggest alternatives to high phe foods when eating at a restaurant or cafeteria

HOME ACTIVITIES

Provide your teen with opportunities to demonstrate their problem solving skills. Review a school lunch menu or a menu from your favorite restaurant. What would he/she order that is low phe AND a satisfying meal? What are some strategies that apply at most restaurants? Are there entrees or meals that are always okay to order?
