The fellowship aims to provide educational assistance for students seeking to understand natural and cultural resource issues and how these interact with human values.\u00a0Special consideration will be given to proposals that address the following:<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>natural resource issues such as aquatic ecology, terrestrial ecology, fire ecology, invasive plants, and climate change<\/li>\n<li>cultural resource issues, such as history and architectural studies, cultural landscape reports, ethnographic research, and archeology<\/li>\n<li>social science that informs resource management about a\u00a0natural or cultural topic and\/or that addresses visitor impacts to park resources<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Competition is open to graduate students or superior upper division undergraduate students at universities and colleges in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/urldefense.com\/v3\/__http:\/\/www.cesu.psu.edu\/__;!!K-Hz7m0Vt54!giFqkhG2dwFk2clFDI-anRcDwfdG9c3QQfzSb2drZKYI93Yd2tIM5JLnfpWnjHCsCFSQnF9FuMZ2nEUNxLUCzYDSwCg$\">CESU Network<\/a>. \u00a0Applicants may request up to $7500.
