The fellowship aims to provide educational assistance for students seeking to understand natural and cultural resources issues and how these interact with human values.&nbsp;Special consideration will be given to proposals that address the following:<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>natural resource issues such as aquatic ecology, terrestrial ecology, fire ecology, invasive plants, and climate change<\/li>\n<li>cultural resource issues, such as history and architectural studies, cultural landscape reports, ethnographic research, and archeology<\/li>\n<li>social science that informs resource management about a&nbsp;natural or cultural topic and\/or that addresses visitor impacts to park resources<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Competition is open to\u00a0<strong>graduate students<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>high-achieving upper division undergraduate students<\/strong>\u00a0(3.5 GPA or higher) at\u00a0<strong>universities and colleges in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/urldefense.com\/v3\/__http:\/\/www.cesu.psu.edu\/__;!!K-Hz7m0Vt54!nCIXVKaKaewthsjPK5oiqf_m_N5ecjDF3SHIQQDMqrYoqnprUkFUkVljOxen6qGaqZ3vPiZE6S6U9uDh1I6pV8PU$\">CESU Network<\/a><\/strong>.
