Approximately $150,000 is expected to be available to support this project for one (1) year. Additional funding maybe available at a rate of $150K\/yr for up to 3 additional option years based on future R&amp;D needs for a total of $600K for the full project.<\/p>\n<p>Full announcement is available here:<a href=\"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/pnwcesu\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/USACE_W912HZ-19-SOI-0004.pdf\">USACE_W912HZ-19-SOI-0004<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Brief Description of Anticipated Work:<br \/>\nThe Corps is seeking support for code updates and enhancements to the CE-QUAL W2 and RAS models as needed for model integration issues in the Columbia\u2013Snake system. Some of these support tasks will include:<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Improve model documentation as code changes or model updates are made;<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Work with ERDC\u2019s version of CE-QUAL-W2 and integrate into one code base as necessary and when EIS model is modified;<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Develop algorithms for automating the model to reach targets for TDG in both CE-QUAL W2 and RAS;<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Continue testing and improving efficacy of TDG code in CE-QUAL-W2 and RAS;<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Provide support for bugs, work arounds, or training on different aspects of new CE-QUAL-W2 and RAS code to support the EIS water quality technical team;<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Conduct CE-QUAL W2 and RAS modeling to support EIS alternative analysis;<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Provide expert review of Columbia River system models, such as RBM-10, which are being used in parallel projects such as the lower Columbia\/Snake River TMDL.<\/p>\n<p>Please send responses or direct questions to:<br \/>\nDerek A.
