Critical Development Forum

Critical Development Forum (CDF)

Do you want to do international development work?

Do you want to make the world a better place?

Do you ever wonder why there are so many people in development but such uneven progress?

Do you want to meet other people who want to do the same?

What: A student group dedicated to bringing together students across disciplines to discuss the challenges and possibilities of development work. Together we can help rethink and reshape development. Each week we will bring in a different guest speaker from a variety of backgrounds in development to offer a different perspective on development that we can then discuss amongst the forum.

Forum speakers in past meetings have included:

-Stephen Bezrucha MD, MPH–spent 11 years working on development in Nepal

-Dr. James Pfeifer Ph.D, MPH—Director of Mozambique Projects for Health Alliance

When: The CDF forum will be meeting once per week throughout spring quarter. Stay tuned for dates/times!
