Please join us on Thursday, December 8, 2011 for the launch of Global WACh (the Global Center for Integrated Health of Women, Adolescents, and Children) in conjunction with the Washington Global Health Alliance Discovery Series lecture with Leslie Mancuso, PhD, RN, FAAN, President and CEO of JHPIEGO, an affiliate of Johns Hopkins University (see link for more information).
Dr. Mancuso will be giving a lecture entitled, “Women, Adolescents, and Children: Improving Health Over the Lifecycle.” Come and learn more about JHPIEGO, Global WACh, and the Washington Global Health Alliance Discovery Series! There will be music and a free networking reception to follow the presentation.

Dr. Leslie Mancuso is President and CEO of JHPIEGO, an internationally known advocate for accessible and affordable health care delivery systems. Jhpiego, a NGO affiliate of Johns Hopkins University, has worked for nearly forty years with front-line health workers to design and implement effective, low-cost, hands-on solutions to strengthen the delivery of health care services to vulnerable women and their families throughout Africa, Asia, the Near East, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.
