Groups at Hall Health Winter Quarter 2012 – Procrastinatio, Anxieyt, Mindfulness, Sexual Orientation, DBT Ski9lls, Graduate Women of Color

1. DBT Skills Group (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy group). Mondays from 1:30-3:00 p.m. starting Monday, January 9, 2012. Ten weeks. Come join us to learn how to increase self-awareness, build relationship skills, manage crisis situations, and better control your emotions. Open to clients referred by their Hall Health Mental Health Clinic providers. Contact Treg Isaacson, MA (221-7983) or Meghann Gergber, PsyD (221-7941) for more information.

2. Process Group For Graduate Women of Color; Thursdays from 1:30 to 3:00, beginning January 12, 2012. The group will emphasize self-awareness, confidence, and self-esteem through growth oriented collaboration and help graduate women of color develop core strengths, which exist within every person. This group will explore concepts of invisibility, impostor syndrome, perfectionism and issues such as intimacy, relationships, tenure/childbirth and the colored glass ceiling. This group will work to understand how these issues influence or affect one’s ability to complete graduate school. For more information contact Dr. Kane at 206-221-2449 or mkanew@u.washington.edu

Cost of all groups: $47 per session ($40 No Show Fee without 24 hour notice). Insurance may cover fees, please check with your insurance carrier.
