Dear health professional students,
AFTU/WSMA Lobby Day is coming up on President’s Day, February 20 (no class that day). Last year, over 40 students from medicine, nursing, public health, and more, visited Olympia to advocate for important health care causes, and we were heard. We met with over 40 legislators and their aides to work toward the same end goal…our future patients’ right to health care. It doesn’t matter if you have never lobbied before, this year come voice your concerns, share your experiences and participate in the political process! We have to keep advocating for our patients in AND out of the clinic. We will provide lunch and transportation.
