Are you passionate about… Helping Others? Meeting great people? Educating for prevention? Come to Team HBV Winter Informational Meeting!!! We are a student organization collaborating to fight Hepatitis B. All Majors welcome! Our mission is to educate our campus and local community about Hepatitis B and liver cancer. In addition to our central objective of education we aim to: Support the global Jade Ribbon Campaign Promote awareness through a variety of print, visual, and social media outlets Train and inspire student leaders around the nation to educate their surrounding communities Build partnerships with other student clubs and with local groups in the community Organize free or affordable HBV screening and vaccination events Establish a network of Team HBV Collegiate Chapters at universities across the nation Come engage yourself in what we are, what we do, and enjoy a yummy treat on Feb. 23, 2012 4:30-5:30pm at Thompson 235!
