Circle of Friends for Mental HealthInterns/supporters

The Circle of Friends for Mental Health has been leading classes for more than 9 years in King County teaching arts to adults with serious mental illnesses. Join us and have fun, learn, and create along with the persons who we help. You can teach a class or be a helper/supporter or you can teach and bring your own friend as a supporter. We have art/creative writing/drama/photography/occasional dance and music. Grant writers would be most helpful. Call Carolyn 206.325.6386 or 206.525.0648 or Barbara 206.919.9264.

You will be assigned a place, and expected to attend with some ideas for a class project, and a smile for all. We are friends, not master artists. Our work builds health, expression, friendship and release from tensions. You can sign up for a quarter or for the year. Some office work is available in the office in the University District.
