MEDIC will once again be meeting on Tuesday, October 2nd in Health Sciences T wing room 359 from 5 to 6:30; Claire will be leading a discussion about conscientious objection in pediatric medicine. Are health care providers obligated to comply with a patient’s wishes even if they feel they are harmful to their patient’s health, or to that of the community? We will focus on the topics of youth boxing, parental refusal of vaccination, and female circumcision.
Navigating the Health Sciences building can be tricky. Enter through the main T wing entrance and signs will direct you to the exact room. Feel free to bring your friends! Snacks will be provided.
