AED Weekly Update

Hey Premeds – Here’s what’s going on with AED this week!

AED Second General Meeting – Med Student Panel

This tuesday at 6:00pm in Savery 264, AED will have speakers who will introduce themselves and tell you all about their journey from undergrad through their time in Medical School thus far. After the speakers have presented there will be a Q/A session for everyone to have a chance get questions they’ve had, answered. I advise you all to come prepared with 2-3 questions. Among the speakers are:

Shelley Leong: A Washington state resident that studied microbiology at UW (class of 2011).

Steven Flynn: A 25 year old medical student who spent his first year in Wyoming. Currently his major interest is emergency medicine and possibly a surgical specialty.

Kellie Moore: Studied anthropology at UC San Diego who is interested in ophthalmology.

Kiel Urata: Majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry at University of Portland

Billy Galliger: Was in the Marine Corps prior to starting undergrad. Attended a community college for two years and then went to Boise State.

Josephine Garcia: Studied Biochem at UW and is currently interested in OB/GYN

As usual there will be free food along with AED points. We look forward to seeing you all there!
