Next MCAT Exam is March 23-Updates to Share with Your Students

Greetings! As the 2013 MCAT exam administration continues, we want to share important reminders about changes this year. · The Writing Sample section has been removed from the exam to make room for the Trial Section for the new exam. · Students are invited to volunteer to participate in the Trial Section at the end of the exam. The length of the exam will be shorter than past years. · Students that volunteer to participate in the Trial Section and demonstrate a good-faith effort will receive a $30 Amazon.com® Gift Card* Claim Code** and feedback on their performance. · The Trial Section will not be scored. Feedback on performance will compare individual performance with others taking the same questions. This feedback will not be shared with medical schools or advisors. Your help in sharing information with students about these changes is greatly appreciated! Your students that do participate in the Trial Section will have the opportunity to test out content that is important in medical school and compare their performance with others who take the same content. Their help in testing new items is also important to the success of the new MCAT2015 exam. Attached is a poster that you can post to alert students to the opportunity to volunteer on test day for the Trial Section. No advance registration is necessary.
