Please let your students know about this lab position. Interested students are to contact the email listed below. We are a virology laboratory in the department of Microbiology. We are looking for a freshman or Sophomore lab helper to work in our lab starting Spring quarter and continuing through the summer quarter and into next year. The initial duties include general lab maintenance, solution making, plate pouring and other tasks necessary for the lab to run. Once the helper is proficient at the necessary duties they can begin learning lab techniques with the long-term goal of working on a research project. If you are interested please send a resume, your grades and a written paragraph on why you want to work in a lab to gachelet@uw.edu by April 16th.
