Migrant Camp Donations!

Hello all,

I’m Alex Ruiz, a Premed student at UW and UDOC 05 alumni, SMDEP 08 alumni, 09 SMDEP RA & ’10 SMDEP RA. I am currently involved in a migrant health program and we are conducting a drive to collect donations to be taken to migrant families in camps in the Bellingham and Mt. Vernon areas this summer with the help of the University Of Washington School Of Medicine under the Summer Medical/Dental Educational Program. The donation will be distributed after screening and Health Education sessions, both of which will be provided by Sea Mar Community Health Center.

I’m emailing you all to encourage you to please donate anything you can to this program, it will be greatly appreciated!

v (California Policy Research Center, University of California, 2003)

-They work an average of 15 hours OR MORE A DAY, making an average income of less than $10,000 dollars per year
