INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC HEALTH LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Pre-med? Interested in public health? Want international leadership experience?

Apply to be part of a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to launch a new student program that will make an impact for years to come! UAID: United Against Infectious Diseases is an undergraduate organization started at Yale that is a partner project of Global Brigades (the world’s largest student-run volunteer organization).

The international mission of UAID is to provide HIV, malaria, and tuberculosis testing and counseling to rural villagers in developing nations and pursue an awareness initiative to statistically at-risk populations.

We will be taking 4 groups of students to Panama this summer! For the application to the Panama trips and detailed information about UAID, please see our website at www.uaidinternational.org. Due to overwhelming interest, the deadline for the application has been extended to April 1, 2011. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at uaidinternational@gmail.com.
