Konstantina Mason

Hi, my name is Konstantina. I am originally from Seattle, but I spent the majority of my life in Reno, Nevada. I am a second-year student at the University of Washington and I am considering either physics, chemistry, or astronomy as my major. Astronomy has always fascinated me because most of it remains a mystery. Centuries ago people thought the world was flat and today we have theories about how the universe began that actually have a substantial amount of proof behind them. I hope to continue learning more about the rapidly changing and expanding field of astronomy through Pre-MAP.
