Caleb Wilkins

Hello, my name is Caleb Wilkins. I am a transfer student beginning my first quarter at UW this Autumn 2020. I have lived in Washington my entire life, but I am lucky enough to say that my pursuit of studying Astronomy has allowed me amazing opportunities to learn through traveling. The highlight of my experience studying Astronomy was definitely July of 2019, when I had the opportunity to intern at the Observatoire Pic du Midi, an observatory located in the French Pyrenees mountains, the highest altitude observation point in Europe! It was an experience I’ll never forget. Now, looking towards the UW Astronomy program has me equally excited to continue the study of my passion!
