Patrick Costa

Hello, my name is Patrick Costa and I am a freshman here at the University of Washington. I plan on double majoring in Astronomy and Physics. I was born and raised in North Kingstown, Rhode Island and have always been fascinated by the vastness of space and possibility of life elsewhere in the universe. My dad and I used to go hiking in White Mountain National Forest where we would spend the night in a cabin, far from any light pollution. I remember walking out onto the porch and peering up into the beautiful night sky for hours pondering what could be out there and what we may be missing. In my free time, I play hockey for UW, am part of the spikeball club, play football and basketball, and ski.
