What is Project Nexus?

Project NEXUS is a paid virtual interview to learn more about harm reduction practices and health outcomes among people in communities served by syringe services programs. A NEXUS visit will last about 60 to 90 minutes. To learn more about Project NEXUS or to see if you are eligible, visit us at one of our project locations.

What will I be asked to do at a NEXUS visit?

  • Complete a screener to see if you are eligible to participate
  • 40-minute anonymous survey
  • Rapid HIV Antibody Test
  • Rapid HCV Antibody Test
  • Hepatitis C Virus Test
  • Give a referral card to your peers
