Antispasmodics

Some children with neurologic disorders that affect the bladder (e.g., myelomeningocele) take antispasmodic medications.

Nutrition-related side effects can include:

  • nausea
  • dry mouth
  • constipation
  • abdominal pain
  • anorexia
  • problems with swallowing
