DO NOT MOVE OR MODIFY --><!-- [if lt IE 9]>\n\t\t\t<script src=\"https:\/\/oss.maxcdn.com\/html5shiv\/3.7.2\/html5shiv.min.js\"><\/script>\n\t\t\t<script src=\"https:\/\/oss.maxcdn.com\/respond\/1.4.2\/respond.min.js\"><\/script>\n\t\t<![endif]--><\/p>\n<div id=\"sp-main\" class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div id=\"left\" class=\"col-sm-8\">\n<div id=\"sp-content\">\n<table id=\"SpContent\" border=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td id=\"SpContent_Container\">\n<div id=\"CustomPageBody\">\n<p><strong><em>Registration is free and available worldwide to those interested in autism research.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>This year&#8217;s focus will be related to culture and diversity in autism research<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>13 July<\/strong> &#8211; <b>Dr. Aubyn Stahmer<\/b> (University of California, Davis MIND Institute) opens with a seminar on access to services and services across diverse communities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>27 July<\/strong> &#8211; <b>Dr. Elizabeth Pellicano<\/b> (University College London) is leading a seminar about ethical considerations, specifically ethics of autism research and the relation of ethics to research participation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3 August<\/strong> &#8211; <b>Dr. Roy Richard Grinker <\/b>(George Washington University) will provide an anthropological view of ASD.<\/p>\n<p><strong>10 August <\/strong>&#8211; <b>Dr. Sue Fletcher-Watson<\/b> (The University of Edinburgh) takes us through what we need to know and what we do not yet know about bilingualism in ASD.<\/p>\n<p><strong>17 August <\/strong>&#8211; <b>Dr. Jennifer Singh<\/b> (Georgia Institute of Technology) will provide an overview about the structural inequalities in the diagnosis and services for ASD.<\/p>\n<p><strong>24 August <\/strong>&#8211; <b>Dr. Nidhi Singhal<\/b> (National Centre for Autism India) concludes the series with a presentation on topics related to autism research in India, particularly epidemiological aspects and the development of screening and diagnostic tools. \u00c2<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The International Society for Autism Research is hosting a free series of six weekly seminars related to culture and diversity in autism research.
