Professional Interest | Professionally, I am interested in student staff development, student leadership development, the Husky Experience and fostering diversity within each of these interests. I am focused on residence education and am always searching for ways that students can make meaning out of their time at UW through hands-on experience with other students. I feel proudest when my student staff succeeds and feels accomplished in their job and their work. |
One thing you like about working and/or living in Seattle | There’s no shortage of things to do: amazing food, nice concert venues, great hiking. We’re within driving distance of the water, mountains, forests and beaches. |
One thing you appreciate about working with students at UW | I’ve found that UW students take pride in their work. They often take initiative to get things done and certainly don’t shy away from activism and advocacy. They have a dedication to their community while maintaining a strong sense of the individual/self. They inspire me rise to their level. |
