Professional Interests Identifying and working to remove the ever-evolving barriers that exist for first-generation college students in entering higher education and achieving a fulfilling college experience. I also place great importance in advocating for socioeconomic reforms and my personal passion is studying democracy and how its history and current institutions impact people both within the United States and globally.
One thing you like about working and/or living in Seattle I love the mystique of the city – the ocean, mountains, and forests surrounding us often feels surreal.
One thing you appreciate about working with students at UW I love to see students create a community for themselves and each other! UW students are not afraid to challenge barriers.
