The Multicultural & Native Transfer Day conference is geared towards the Washington state first-year and second-year student who is currently enrolled at a community college and is planning to apply to the University of Washington. Multicultural & Native Transfer Day is dedicated to helping underrepresented first-year and second-year transfer students learn more about the resources and opportunities at the UW. Students will have the opportunity to meet with departmental advisers to learn more about particular majors, learn about the application process, financial aid, and meet with current students who went through the transfer process.

Our office focuses its resources on serving the following underrepresented minority groups: African American, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander (Melanesian, Polynesian, Micronesian) Southeast Asian (Vietnamese, Lao, Khmer, Hmong, Mien, etc.) Hispanic/Latinx, and American Indian/Alaska Native.
