Rising SEAs is a one-day conference designed to encourage, motivate, and empower Southeast Asian students to pursue higher education, as well as to give them the opportunity to experience the University of Washington. Participants will meet current Southeast Asian and Asian American UW students, interact in workshops, and prepare them to be competitive applicants to UW.

Rising SEAs is FREE! Food will be provided throughout the day. The only cost to you will be transportation to and from the University of Washington-Seattle campus.
*Underrepresented Southeast Asian students are defined but not limited to the following ethnic heritages: Khmer, Khmer Loeu, Khmer Krom, Hmong, Mien, Khmu, Lao, Taidam, Tai Lue, Vietnamese, Cham, Montagnards, Karen; this group also includes students from Bhutanese and Burmese heritages.
