Stunning Buddhist sculpture was found at the Monastery of Fondukistan, above the Ghorband Valley on one of the roads to Bamiyan. Included here are a very few images from some of the other important sites in the region. For a set of excellent images of the Fondukistan material (in some cases better than those below), visit the Insecula.com website.
