Musée Guimet:: China: Han Period

The Han Dynasty period (roughly 2nd c. BCE to 2nd c. CE) material isplayed here is only a small sampling (not representative) of the substantial collections in the Guimet of objects from early China. Among its many other objects, the museum has outstanding examples of the earliest Chinese pottery, bronzes, jade, and some very interesting lacquered pieces.
