Tracks

We offer a traditional track (#1918520F0),
a pediatric track (#1918520F1),
and an otolaryngology track (#1918520F2).

Fellows

We have three fellows per year with at least one in both the traditional and pediatric tracks.

Sites

All fellows rotate through 4 training sites: Harborview, UWMC, VA Puget Sound, and Seattle Children’s.

Unique UW Sleep Fellow Experiences

Sleep medicine is a multidisciplinary specialty. This is reflected in our faculty who come from a wide variety of backgrounds including pulmonary medicine, pediatrics, neurology, psychiatry and more. Coupled with the diversity of our four rotation sites, the University of Washington Sleep Fellowship program offers unique experiences for your training.

Introduction to Sleep Medicine with a focus on hands-on training

PSG Sessions

Robust Sleep Psychiatry

Multiple exposures to CBT-i, PAP desensitization, PTSD

Sample Schedules

A typical week for both tracks is 4-5 half days of clinic, 3-4 half days of flex, and a half day of supervised PSG interpreting. We have outlined sample schedules for both tracks below, covering the year-long fellowships. Fellows in both tracks are exposed to both adult and pediatric rotations.
