Local Lecture by Globetrotter Alum Rodriguez

George Rodriguez (MFA 2009) is currently a resident artist at Pottery Northwest. This Friday, 04 March 2011, at 7pm, he will give a lecture there about his experience as a Bonderman Graduate Fellow. After graduation, he was able to use this generous fellowship to travel alone for at least eight months. Fellows must visit a minimum of six countries in two or more world regions. During his time on the road, Rodriguez visited 26 countries. Among the countries he saw were Chile, Argentina, Peru, Japan, China, Korea, and much of Eastern Europe. In addition to images of his travels, he will also talk about his work before and after this life-changing experience.
