How are visual artists addressing AI? Recording now available of AI, Art, and Copyright

On May 2, 2024, Society + Technology at UW co-hosted a roundtable conversation about pressing issues related to art and intellectual property in the age of artificial intelligence.

The event was an outcome of the AI, Creativity, and the Humanities research cluster at The Simpson Center for the Humanities and moderated by Melanie Walsh, Assistant Professor in the Information School. The panel was convened and sponsored by The Simpson Center, and co-hosted by The Simpson Center, Society + Technology at UW, and the UW Tech Policy Lab.
