SoundCitizen in Google Earth’s Ocean Layer

The Sylvia Earl Alliance (SEAlliance) is partnering with Google Earth to highlight discoveries and stories about the ocean via the “Explore the Ocean” layer.  Check out SoundCitizen’s first post in the Google Ocean layer and visit other interesting ocean stories from around the globe!

You can explore these stories from the SEAlliance website where you can search for stories by entering keywords or by downloading the free Google Earth application and clicking on the Ocean Layer.

In the Pacific Northwest you’ll find stories posted by COASST, NOAA, Beam Reach and others.  If you’re interested in adding more information about our estuary or coastal waters, you can contact SEAlliance to author your own post!
