6.) What are objective criteria for the diagnosis of postoperative pneumonia?

Criteria for the diagnosis of postoperative pneumonia: rales or dullness to percussion on physical examination of the chest associated with new onset of purulent sputum, or chest X-ray with new or progressing infiltrate and new onset of purulent sputum.
