DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
1.) What is the differential diagnosis of an appendiceal mass and which of these is the most common?

Differential diagnosis of an appendiceal mass: carcinoid, fecalith, adenocarcinoma, and mucocele. Of the neoplasms, carcinoid is the most common.
