| 4.) What diagnostic tests do you need?

Diagnostic tests:
- Laboratory: CBC, electrolytes.
- Plain and upright abdominal X-rays to see gas pattern, presence of volvulus, dilatation of cecum.
- CT scan if diagnosis of large bowel obstruction is in doubt or if mass is present.
- Contrast enema using gastrografin to define site of obstruction and possible etiology.
