4.) What are the types of cystic tumors found in the pancreas and what characterizes each one by history and imaging?

Cystic tumors of the pancreas:
- Serous cystadenoma: benign; usually no malignant potential; seen in middle aged women. On CT scan there is a complex low density mass composed of multiple small cysts separated by fine septa with central calcification giving "sunburst" pattern.
- Mucinous cystadenoma: more in women; has definite malignant potential. On CT scan there is a large cystic mass which may or may not have septa and calcifications.
- Mucinous cystadenocarcinoma: end stage of a mucinous cystadenoma. On CT scan there is a bulky cystic mass with irregular walls.
