2.) How do you perform a complete breast exam?

The complete breast examination:
The examination begins with inspection of both breasts (patient with arms down by her sides, above her head, and then pressing on her hips) looking for masses, skin dimpling, asymmetry of breasts, nipple retraction or deviation.
Then palpation of both breasts is performed with the patient sitting and then lying down with the respective arm above her head. Palpation is done in a circular or
radial fashion to include all breast tissue. Lymphadenopathy is best assessed in the sitting position. Nipple discharge is also assessed.
