DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
8.) What are factors that increase risk of recurrence? What are the two most important prognostic factors?

Factors increasing risk of recurrence: large size, positive nodes and number of nodes positive, estrogen receptor negative, neu/HER2 expressed, high grade histology, aneuploidy, or lymphovascular invasion.



The most important prognostic factors are the size of the lesion and the absolute number of lymph nodes involved.
